In order to qualify for Dub-It’s VHS guarantee, video masters must be set up as described below. Video duplication orders from masters without alignment signals, pre-roll and proper set-up will be stopped. The customer will then be notified to authorize duplication “as is” without Dub-It VHS guarantee.
1) Minimum 30 seconds of SMPTE color bars with 1 KHz tone @ 0db analog or –20db on the digital scale.
2) 10+ seconds of black before and after program.
3) No video or audio "countdown" before program.
4) Audio must be mixed stereo or dual channel mono.
5) No unmixed soundtracks.
6) Unless requested, bars & tone will be omitted from VHS dubs.

| What is Dub-It's Check VHS Policy? |
A Check VHS is the customer’s option. The quality of video content is dependent on the client’s preparation of the video master. Dub-It’s quality control department tests each VHS dub in the beginning, middle and end. Please be advised that Dub-It will not review incoming video masters for video & audio content quality. It is the customer’s responsibility to provide a video master that has been thoroughly reviewed and tested before submission to Dub-It for duplication.
If a customer requests a Check VHS, Dub-It will provide a Check VHS at the same cost as duplication.
NOTE: Preparation of Check VHS will add time to the overall production schedule.

| How will my master video be archived? |
All video masters will be stored in climate-controlled, fire and theft protected premises.
